Monte Cristo Deep Fried Burrito
If you like Monte Cristo's, you will like this one! This was a experiment that turned out really good!
Ingredients
8 ounces of sliced black forest ham
8 ounces of sliced turkey
8 ounces of provolone sliced cheese
10 inch flour tortilla's
1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
2 tablespoon powdered sugar
2 tablespoon of jelly of your choice
Directions
1. Heat oil to 370 degrees.
2. For each sandwich, take a tortilla, spread 1 tablespoon of dijon and mayonnaise and spread over onside of the tortilla, then take 2 slices each of turkey and ham, followed by on slice of provolone on top.
3. Roll the tortilla tight and fold over the sides.
4. Deep fry for 4 minutes, it will try to float to the top, so gently press down with a metal kitchen ladle or large serving serving spoon to keep submerged in the oil.
5. Remove from fryer and cook for 3 minutes, then slice it in half diagonally.
6. Serve and top with powdered sugar and jelly.
